EARTHWALK FOR SAMHAIN – SATURDAY 17TH NOVEMBER 2018

WHAT ARE EARTHWALKS?

EARTHWALKS are all about walking in nature with an approach that is meditative – aware of the breath and walking more slowly.

EARTHWALKS PRACTICE A.R.C.

A = AWARENESS OF THE BEAUTY OF MOTHER EARTH.

R = RESPECT FOR MOTHER EARTH.

C = CONNECTEDNESS WITH MOTHER EARTH.

EARTHWALKS enable us to enter into the experience of the natural world and all its beauty in a deeper way.

EARTHWALKS are about excercise and company, and also about discovery and gratitude and fun!

The walks are led by Frances Daly (M.Sc. Ecology) and Grace Clunie, Director of Celtic Spirituality.

Wear good walking boots and bring  a rain-coat and a cushion in a plastic bag for sitting down.

NEXT EARTHWALK – WILL TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY 17TH NOVEMBER 2018 at Benburb Priory. Beautiful grounds and in November the lovely river will be in full flow! We’ll meet in the Priory car park at 10.30a.m. and go on our ramble from there! The Priory also has a lovely coffee shop where we will resume after the walk for refreshments.

ALL WELCOME!

COST: Voluntary Donation – proceeds go to SURVIVAL – an organisation which lobbies on behalf of the world’s indigenous peoples whose ways of life and lands are continually under threat. (www.survivalinternational.org) registered charity 267444.
